Hongya Cave

Hongyadong, formerly known as Hongyamen, is one of the ancient city gates of Chongqing. Located on Cangbai Road, Monument to the People’s Liberation, it is situated in the riverside area where the Yangtze River and Jialing River meet. It is a tourist area that combines sightseeing, leisure, and vacation functions. Known for its traditional Bayu architecture and folk customs, it has been rated as a national AAAA-level tourist attraction. In 2006, it was built with a total investment of 385 million yuan from the Chongqing Municipal Government.

Wulong Karst Tourism Region

The Karst Tourist Area, located in Wulong District, Chongqing, is a national 5A-level tourist attraction. It was rated as a 5A-level scenic spot in 2011 and consists of three core scenic areas: Tiansheng Three Bridges, Fairy Mountain, and Furong Cave. It boasts karst landform landscapes such as caves, sinkholes, ground fissures, and canyons, as well as ethnic minority folk customs. The scenic area has a subtropical monsoon humid climate with an average annual temperature of 17.4℃ and a negative oxygen ion content of 5000/cm³.

Yangtze River Cableway

The Yangtze River Cableway, officially put into operation on October 24, 1987, stands as the first aerial corridor along the Yangtze River, and has been safely operating for over three decades. Day after day, year after year, it has transported people from one side to the other, infusing the historical memories, regional characteristics, cultural ambiance, and spiritual temperament of Chongqing into its very body, blood, and soul. It has become a witness, recorder, perpetuator, and inheritor of the city’s cultural heritage, as well as a nostalgic guardian of this bustling metropolis. It has also become a classic old song that has been played endlessly over the mountain city, singing the stories of the Bayu people to the wind.

Chongqing Zoo

Chongqing Zoo, located in Jiulongpo District, Chongqing, is a 4A-level tourist attraction featuring rare animals such as giant pandas and South China tigers. Its official website is www.cqzoo.com. The park covers an area of 43.5 hectares and exhibits over 4,000 wild animals of more than 230 species. It is a large urban zoo integrating science popularization, conservation, scientific research, and leisure. ‌‌

White Emperor City Qutang Gorge Scenic Spot

The Baidi City·Qutang Gorge Scenic Area is located on Baidi Mountain on the north bank of the Yangtze River at the mouth of Qutang Gorge in Fengjie County, Chongqing. It is situated at the western entrance of the Three Gorges of the Yangtze River, facing Kuimen to the east, Baiyan Mountain across the river to the south, Fengjie County to the west, and Jigong Mountain to the north. It is more than 10 kilometers east of Fengjie County. ‌‌
